Local moving services

Our local crews handle residential moving, apartment moving, house moving, and furniture moving. You choose the crew size from the same hourly options listed on our homepage: 2 movers + truck, 3 movers + truck, or 4 movers + truck, with extra movers or an extra truck if the inventory needs it. There is a 3-hour minimum (labor time plus travel time). Final hourly rates can be higher on weekends, end-of-month dates, and summer months (May–September).

Residential moving

For houses and apartments, we protect furniture, move boxes, and set items in the rooms you designate. Tell us about pianos, gym equipment, or anything over 300 lb so we can staff the job correctly. We transport appliances as part of residential moving; disconnect and reconnect of gas or hard-wired units is not something we claim on this site unless you confirm it with us in writing before moving day.

Apartment moving

Apartment buildings add elevator time and loading-dock rules. Share building instructions when you book. A studio or one-bedroom often fits a 2- or 3-person crew; larger units usually need more hands so the hourly clock stays efficient.

House moving

Houses typically mean longer carries, more furniture, and more wrapping. Walk the property with us in mind: attic, basement, garage, and outdoor items. If you need storage between closing dates, see our storage page.

Furniture moving

We disassemble and reassemble furniture when it is required to get pieces through doors or onto the truck. We have equipment for safely hoisting and unloading heavy items. Packing of belongings is optional; you can pack yourself or add packing services.

Hourly local service includes professional movers, a clean box truck, and furniture disassembly/reassembly as listed on the price table. Packing materials and full packing are extra unless you add packing. Travel time counts toward the 3-hour minimum.

Pricing context

Starting rates published on the homepage are $129/hr (2 movers + truck), $179/hr (3 movers + truck), and $219/hr (4 movers + truck). Additional movers are $39/hr and an additional truck is $49/hr. Those are starting rates, not a guaranteed final bill. Peak days cost more.
