Packing is the difference between a controlled load and a truck full of open baskets. VIP Movers offers professional packing so dishes, frames, and electronics are boxed before the movers start carrying. You can hire full packing or keep some rooms for yourself.

Professional packing

Our packers use professional techniques and packing materials. The goal is simple: items arrive in the same condition they left, without last-minute chaos. We do not claim that every object on earth is insurable through us; ask us what protection applies to your shipment when you book.

Fragile items

Glass, ceramics, and screens need more than a reused grocery box. Fragile packing is one of the reasons customers hire us instead of packing the night before. Point out heirlooms during the walkthrough so they are not treated like books.

Packing materials

We bring the materials needed to pack the rooms you hire us for. If you already bought boxes, we can use what is sound and fill gaps. We do not publish a carton price list on this website; materials for a packing job are confirmed with your quote.

Full packing

Full packing means the crew boxes the home (or office) so moving day is mostly furniture and stacked cartons. It costs more time on the clock and usually starts before load day on larger homes. Tell us if you need packing the day before the truck.

Partial packing

Partial packing is the common middle path: we take the kitchen, wardrobe, or fragile rooms; you box clothes and books. It keeps the bill smaller while still protecting the items that break.

Furniture protection

Even when you self-pack, furniture still gets wrapped for the ride. Disassembly is separate from carton packing and is listed on our hourly crews. Mattress bags and similar supplies can be discussed when we see the inventory.

Preparation for local moves

On a local move, packing can happen the morning of the job or on a separate visit. Same-day packing plus loading is faster on small apartments and tighter on houses.

Preparation for long-distance moves

On a long-distance move, cartons take more stress. Full packing or at least kitchen and fragile packing is the conservative approach. Storage-bound goods should be packed as if they will sit, not as if they will be unpacked tonight. See storage.

Offices can be packed too; file boxes and supply rooms are part of commercial moving. Request packing on the Get a Quote form message, then we will confirm scope.
